LK Presentation at the White Daisy Quilt Shop Winter Retreat

Please join the White Daisy Quilt Shop out of Punta Gorda, FL during their open sew retreat that promises to be full of fun and laughter. LK Certified Instructor and Ambassador Glo Jensen will be giving her LK Presentation during the retreat using the "Sail Away" kit and will have samples for those wanting to try some foundation paper piecing, the LK way!

Building Blocks Beginner Foundation Paper Piecing Class

The Building Blocks Pattern is the perfect introduction to foundation Paper piecing and the unique Legit Kits techniques to create beautiful works of art! this smaller project has 24 different colors, 77 pieces with straight lines. Certified Instructor Nancy Strath will teach you how to understand the pattern, prepare your fabric pieces, create the sections and join the units to create this beautiful 15" x 20" project. The skills learned can be applied to many different patterns by other designers.

3 Day Legit Kits Workshop

Legit Kit Foundation Paper Piecing with Nina! This is a super fun way to make exciting new quilts! Foundation Paper Piecing does not have to be the tedious, exacting method that is sometimes made out to be. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced Paper Piecer, learn how to piece quickly, without pre-cutting or special tools. During the class, you will learn how to organize a quilt kit from Legit Kits, learn about the revolutionary block approach created by Legit Kits, and learn tips and tricks for frustration-free sewing. There are no curves or Y seams involved! You’ll work on the Legit Kits pattern of your choice and leave with the confidence to finish the quilt on your own! Learn how Foundation Paper Piecing can be easy and enjoyable!

This is a 3-day workshop. Hours: 10:30 to 4:00pm with open sew to continue working on your quilts until 9PM. Bring a bag lunch or snacks, door dash or run to the burger place on the corner.

Mini Blue Jay Foundation Paper Piecing Class

Legit Kits puts award winning, beautiful artistic quilts within reach of any quilter who can sew a straight line. Crystal clear, unparalleled patterns printed on the best foundation paper are free of Y seams and thoroughly tested by quilters ranging from beginner to expert. Larger than needed cuts of Kona Cotton accompany every full kit, allowing room for mistakes and leaving a colorful stash after completing your project.

This foundation paper piecing class is perfect for those with some experience with foundation paper piecing, its smaller size make it less intimidating than some of the larger projects, there are some smaller pieces and more angles, Certified Instructor Nancy Strath will guide you through the process from the beginning, and help give you the confidence to move on to the more complicated patterns designed by Legit Kits. The project finishes at 15″ x 20″ there are 40 different Kona colors and 226 pieces. The class fee included the pattern and fabric, there is no homework prior to class you will receive your kit when you arrive at class.
