Shannon Way is a Legit Kits Certified Instructor from Frederick, MD. After raising two incredible children, she was ready to pursue new adventures. She discovered quilting as a creative outlet during the pandemic and hasn’t looked back since. Foundation paper piecing spoke to her perfectionist nature, while Legit Kits opened a world of color and a variety of subjects that was impossible to resist.
Shannon has found unmatched fulfillment in leading students, from beginners to advanced levels, through their own adventures in creating colorful, captivating masterpieces.
In addition to in-person instruction, Shannon has found YouTube an exciting platform to share her expertise in traditional and foundation paper piecing quilting. She offers tips and tricks to her viewers and frequently collaborates with her YouTube community of fellow creators in the quilting world.
Shannon is enthusiastic about the future and looks forward to collaborating with guilds, shops, and retreat centers in the Mid-Atlantic region. She aims to bring the wonderment of Legit Kits to her students in these various settings, further expanding her passion for quilting and teaching.
