CJ Sturtevant has made a place for herself in the quilting world, by combining her scientific background with her love for intricate Foundation Paper Pieced quilts. She is the founder and President of the Syracuse Chapter of Quilts for Kids, a nonprofit providing comfort to children facing adversity.

With nearly 30 years in pharmaceutical sciences, CJ discovered her passion for quilting in 2017. Her scientific expertise proved invaluable in mastering FPP, bridging the creative and analytical.

Recognized for her quilting, teaching, and public speaking skills, CJ is a certified Legit Kits Instructor, offering accessible FPP techniques to quilters of all levels.
